Challenge

The home's low-slope hip roof carried weathered, end-of-life shingles across several connected planes, and the rural foothills site meant tear-off debris, ventilation openings, and material staging all had to be managed around the property and its outbuildings.

Solution

The crew worked the roof in sections — removing the existing shingles, inspecting and preparing the exposed deck, cutting in new ventilation, and running underlayment before staging bundles and installing architectural asphalt shingles across each plane in turn.

Outcome

The home received a complete architectural shingle roof with new box vents, pipe boot flashing, and finished ridge detailing, torn off and installed between morning and early evening the same day.
