When severe weather crosses Ada or Canyon County, we log what the National Weather Service reported, then go look. Each report below records the date, the areas affected, the largest hail and strongest wind on record for that storm, and photographs from the roofs we reached afterward.

Before anything publishes, someone confirms the affected areas against the official source, writes the summary in plain language, and checks that reported maximums are quoted accurately.

Our own photos go on it
The report publishes with photographs and video from roofs in that area — our documentation, not stock imagery. That is the part no weather service can give you.
